Sequence Sentences ...And Make Your Favorite Sandwich

Students work with partners to make sandwiches. The teacher should take digital pictures of each step of the sandwich-making process. Then the pictures will be shown to the class as they write about how-to make a sandwich. Discussions about what would happen if steps are left out or written out of order should help students reflect on the importance of logical sequence.  After the activity is completed, have students write a paragraph on the chronological steps they took to make their sandwiches.
