Visualizing Geometric Solids
From NCTM "Illuminations". Simple interactive tool that displays 6 geometric solids (including the 5 platonic solids) and permits the user to manipulate and color each shape to explore the number of faces, edges, and vertices. Solids can be rotated or made transparent to view the frame of the solid. Ideal for classroom demonstration when platonic solids are introduced.
Aides in visualization and spatial reasoning with geometric figures.
