Mixing Solids with Water
This recording sheet provides an opportunity for students to mix different solids (salt, flour, plaster of paris, instant coffee, sand, and glass marbles) with water.
With this recording sheet, students record predictions and results as they mix different solids with water. The solids include salt, flour, plaster of paris, instant coffee, sand, and glass marbles. Following the discoveries, students are asked to group the solids according to what happened when you mixed them with water.
