Weather and the Atmosphere
This site contains information about how the atmosphere returns solar heat to space. It focuses on pressure and convection, why the air gets cooler the higher it goes into the atmosphere, and water vapor. There are good illustrations to aid in understanding.
The information in this site can be used by teachers as they develop lessons on atmospheric convection. It helps to deepen the teachers understanding and provides information and illustrations that can be used with students.
