Grouping and Describing Changes In Materials
This fun interactive web site has four games for young students to play that build in difficulty level. First, students can sort toys according to criteria of their choosing. In the second game students match labels (names) to the correct material. In the third activity students sort natural from man-made objects. Finally, students describe changes that occur in various materials.
Most activities would need a great deal of guidance by the teacher in kindergarten, but it is a fun and interactive site with four activities/games that could be played as a group led by the teacher or for individuals who need challenging activities.
