Since 2003, Cicely Woodard has taught middle school mathematics in public schools in middle Tennessee. She is passionate about ensuring that her students learn math content through real world contexts. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Memphis and a Master’s of Education from Vanderbilt University. She is honored to serve as the 2018 Tennessee Teacher of the Year.
