Today’s students present a new set of challenges for educators. Approximately 64% of adults report having experienced at least one Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) before age 18 (CDC, 2023). High levels of ACEs coupled with post-pandemic stress can create student behaviors that do not respond to traditional classroom management strategies. In this webinar, we will present examples of current student behaviors and provide strategies for creating a positive, functional, and joyful environment for both students and teachers.
