The World's Biomes
This on-line exhibit is provided by the University of California Museum of Paleontology and provides an excellent resource on biomes. The biomes are divided into the six major categories and then broken down into subcategories. This site would be a good resource for students if they are completing any research on the specific nature of biomes. The site is not incredibly flashy, but very informative. The reading level may be somewhat challenging for some students.
