Fact and Opinion Unit Lesson 2: Identify and Describe Facts

Teacher uses think aloud strategy to introduce the concept of facts vs. opinions. Students also have an opportunity to write facts through guided and independent practice. Complete lesson plan with suggestion to use the book Animal Touch by Kirsten Hall.  A link to a  printable .pdf of a student independent practice sheet is provided. This is Lesson 2. You may need to register to use this site, but it is free.
