Middle Tennessee Counseling Association (MTCA) in partnership with Lipscomb University's Ayers Institute for Learning & Innovation present a special workshop with practitioner Deja Suarez, Ed.S. 

Demands on student-athletes' academic development and mental health continue to rise. New research indicates that student-athletes are a vulnerable population suffering from issues such as depression, suicide, and anxiety. This session examines support systems and reviews how to design proactive strategies promoting best practices for all.
