Standards & Objectives

Learning objectives: 

The goal of this activity is to develop a student’s understanding to identify a variety of flowering and vegetative plants for an indoor setting. Students will gain an understanding of how to properly classify, propagate, install and maintain healthy plant materials. Discussions, reading, researching, visual identification and writing exercises are coordinated in class to help students construct a technical understanding of both flowering and vegetative plants. Students will use this knowledge to create a Quick Reference Guide.
