Teaching Equal Grouping

This is a guide on how to teach equal grouping with your students. This will assist in teaching your students odd and even by pairing objects.

How do we figure out how many items are in each group (when we know the total and number of groups)?

This guide can be used in a multitude of ways to teach pairing to teach even and odd in whole group, small group or even individually with struggling students. Some of the activities can also be put in work stations for the students to use for extra practice.
