Executive Director
The Educators' Cooperative
Bachelor of Arts in History from SUNY Empire; Master of Arts in Teaching from Belmont University. Now in his 11th year of teaching, Mr. O’Loughlin entered the classroom with the inaugural class of the New Teacher Project, Nashville Teaching Fellows. He has worked in both public and private schools and has taught 3rd, 4th, 6th, 9th, and 10th-grade students. In the summer of 2016, Mr. O’Loughlin’s dream of a cooperative for teachers, by teachers became a reality. The cooperative has grown into a professional community of over 100 teachers who represent more than 90 schools. These extraordinary teachers come together to collaborate, share, and learn with one another, regardless of the type of school in which they teach.
