Can We Predict Differences?

Students will produce, predict and compare linear and nonlinear function graphs used to represent the number of punches on a balloon.  This lesson has all of the templates that will be used. This activity can also be used for prediction purposes as students have to predict how the graph will look if something changes. The students are actually working with slope. This activity is used in small heterogenous groups. This activity also has a formative piece with questions for students after the activity has been completed. This has a vocabulary section for teachers.
