Body Organ Poster

This website will have students creating a wanted poster for an organ. Through research and previous learning, students determine the organ system for their organ and ways to keep the system working properly. To adapt and include all levels of organization have students begin with a single cell of their organ and move up the hierarchy of the system. The completed poster may serve as a summative assessment. This lesson can be used as a summative assessment at the end of a unit. The activity can be adapted for class use or students can design it on the computer. Students will research and create a project. This page is linked to the Science Spot, which is a great site for resources covering a variety of science references.
